
This one's another 100 lb. monster loaded with then-current drawings and older loose stuff I scotch-taped in. I was teaching my 3rd semester of Black & White illustration at Mass Art, and scored a 3-painting assignment with StrideRite days before I came down with awful kidney stones. I didn't tell the design staff for fear of losing the job, but I spent about a week rolled up in a ball. 3 trips to the Emergency room, constant throwing up from pain, it was a nightmare. I kept up with the sketch deadlines though:

J. Cannibal and I decided that the first bunch of zombie heads on the Feast Of Flesh posters would get progressively more and more decayed as the series continued. This guy ended up on the posters for FoF3 in Boston and FoF4 in NYC:
